Enabling Touch overwrites editor?

Hi there,
Users are reporting that the “touch keyboard” overwrites the normal input editor on their tablets.
Is there a way to fix this?
I found this topic:

but since it is a bit older and there are no replies, I wondered whether this has been sorted already and if there is a component or code that I could use to give the users the possibilities to use their touch keyboard.

Thank you so much in advance!

Hey @PinkUnicorn, do you have more details on which tablets these users are using? It’d be great to know the screen size, operating system (Android, iOS, Amazon Fire, etc.) and version, and browser and version.

Thanks for getting back to me. I will try to find out and let you know! Have a good evening!

Hi Joshua,
so far only one person came back to me:
He said:
Microsoft Surface Pro III, Windows 10 Home Edition latest version, screen resolution 1920x1280
Browser Microsoft Edge, latest version

Thanks for looking into this!

Microsoft is in the process of replacing Edge with Chrome internally (to be released by the end of the year), and touch laptops are rare. Is this person not using the keyboard attachment, or mixing touch and mouse?

Hi there,
The user is indeed not using the extension keyboard, only touchscreen.
