# Error when editing topic, how do I troubleshoot?

I’ve been working on my site a bit and am now having errors when trying to edit topics (happened on two different ones, a recent one of mine and somebody else’s that is older). I’m logged in with my admin account.
How can I figure out what is going on – where do I look, how do I troubleshoot?

Is there an error in your browser console? That’s what I usually check first. yourforum`/logs` might have additional details too.

yikes, so much red and orange stuff in the Javascript console, and not sure I’m able to understand it all!

I’ve narrowed it down: it’s a problem with having a tag. I looked at a post I managed to edit this morning: no tag. Added a tag: error. Removed the tag: saved.
With the help of my AI assistant (thanks PAI!) I’ve figured this much out:
- Safari only (works in Chrome)
- In [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true) with themes and components deactivated: works
- Different theme: works =\> Air Theme is probably the issue

Hmm unfortunately I’m not able to reproduce this issue in Safari with the Air Theme, technically there’s nothing the theme does with topic creation or tags so it would be unusual 🤔

Are there theme components you have only added to the air theme?
