# Error when logging in using Steam

there is an error in my site when logging by steam  
`Sorry, there was an error authorizing your account. Please try again.`

How to solve `Sorry, there was an error authorizing your account. Please try again.`?

Recently, when configuring GitHub and Steam login, I encountered a problem: after logging in, it prompts `Sorry, there was an error authorizing your account. Please try again.`. After much effort, I found that only by adding the GitHub callback address to `allowed user api auth redirects` in the settings can GitHub be used normally, and the same applies to Steam.

recently i am setting my site of logging by github or steam, after logging , there was an error of `Sorry, there was an error authorizing your account. Please try again`, by my searching and help of @honeymoose , finally i found just change the setting `allowed user api auth redirects` add your github callback url , then it worked!

Based on my feelings, it’s also possible that the problem lies with the service provider in your CDN configuration.

I checked my website and didn’t find any special configurations.

However, this also gives us a good idea.

Sometimes, you need to add some special paths to Discourse.
