Basing off my memory here, in the installation process, there will be a part where it says to press CTRL + C if you want to edit the app.yml file, which you can then perform: cd /var/discourse nano containers/app.yml to edit it, then run a rebuild.

You can do a version: xyz in your app.yml file. IIRC under the params section. It should be commented; you can just uncomment the line and specify the version.

按照上面的自动安装命令，命令执行中好像没办法设置 app.yml 吧。

In what way? Can you elaborate? If this was a fresh installatuon, you can do this. But note that you cannot downgrade existing instances to previous versions, only upwards.

我是说运行下面的这个命令： wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/discourse/discourse_docker/main/install-discourse | sudo bash 这个命令中途如何去修改 app.yml，因为这个命令好像默认安装就是 latest 版本。而我想要安装 esr 版本。

这个好像要安装完了之后，才能编辑，下次构建生效。我想要一开始就指定 esr 版本，不想安装最新版。

非常感谢，因为文档上面没提到过有这一步，导致我很困惑。我会去尝试一下。

You can also not use that script, it’s just a checkout and copying the samples to containers, that’s good for power user configurations. And also reconsider using stable/esr, it feels you will be very unwelcome with support questions in this constellation :slight_smile:

간단한 설치 프로세스에는 이 단계가 없었습니다. 저는 수동으로 프로세스를 중단한 후 app.yml 파일을 편집하고 다시 빌드했습니다.
