# Examples of re-designed Discourse categories page?

Hello!

I’m interested in redesigning the /categories page - I’m going to be changing the placement of some of the categories on the page (not the order), place more prominence on others, etc.

Are there any examples of other companies/forums that have redesigned their Discourse /categories page? My designer would like me to share some examples 🙂

There is a large field of activity. And much is determined by the goal.

We did different experiments:

**1.**

Tried different layout options. Using plug-ins, components, you can do anything. Discourse is a flexible system.

I like the first setup where you show the users image at the top. It can be super useful and also motivating to members of the community.  
And if we can place member’s there then we can even have monitory plan ready for it 😉
