# Excluding categories from the top view?

Is there any way to exclude a category from the “top” view? The -categoryname that we’re using for the latest section doesn’t seem to be working.

top\_menu is: `latest,-Computer Help|new|unread|starred|categories|category/Computer Help`

I have `top_menu` set to `latest,-forum games|top,-forum games|new|unread|starred`.

The top tab still shows topics from the forum games category: [http://forums.hummingbird.me/top](http://forums.hummingbird.me/top)
