# Existing Feature or Plugin for Featured Image

Just like the wordpress “featured image” function, is there a similar function for discourse? I’m interested in this for both categories and topics alike.

Essentially, latest topics on the homepage will show a featured photo if one is uploaded. Categories will also have an assigned featured image that you can see while browsing the category list.

For categories it’s built-in, on the category create/edit modal.
