# Exiting expanded artifacts is tricky on tablets

On top of this if the artifact has any clickable content at the top of the page you can not use it in full screen.

My thinking now is to just switch to pushState here and have the back button work. (either ESC or back button to close the artifact)

Then it can be 100% functional in full screen.
