# Expanding notification for upload limit

Normally , users just upload big files and they get this prompt or notification;

What I want to happen is to expand this notification that say’s e.g

“why not use dropbox , google drive etc., and come back to share the link?”

I want to know where /what file do I need to bring up to edit and expand the notification.

nb. increasing the upload limit is not an option

That’s a very good idea, the error text could include suggestions to work around the issue. Let me add that now.

OK I went with

> Sorry, that file is too big (maximum size is {{max\_size\_kb}}kb). Why not upload your large file to a cloud sharing service, then share the link?

That way I can avoid name-dropping any particular file sharing service, as who knows what is used or common in different areas of the world?
