# Export one post or wiki text into a pdf

There is already the possibility to export a complete thread into a pdf file. Whats missing is an option to do the same with **only one post** inside of a thread.
We are using wiki texts in our instance as a way to have an up-to-date documentation for certain types of information. As wiki text changes over time with the information from collaborators, It would be useful to have a simple option to get the **current version of the wiki text onto pdf** and therefore paper. Thas a useful link between the digital and the non-digital world …

I don’t have an suggestion, but was wondering what this method is; I have not heard of it. 🙂

just hit Ctrl-P for printing and use local pdf creation options instead of a real printer, e.g. for Linux, there are similar options in Windows.
