# Exportando uploads do discourse.org para auto-hospedado

Hi,

I’m in the process of transfering the ownership of my discourse community to a friend, and he would like to run Discourse with a different hosting provider (I’m currently on a [discourse.org](http://discourse.org) plan)

The transition appears to be going smoothly but there is one thing that I cannot figure out. Is there a way to export all user-uploaded content from the account so it can be transferred to another hosting provider?

Just take a backup and restore it. Unless you click the “don’t include files” button you’ll get the database and the files.

You will get the content, but the posts will likely contain references to the [Discourse.org](http://Discourse.org) CDN, and if your database name changes, those links will break inmediately upon import too.

So you will need to rebake or search/replace.
