# Extend topic timer if someone replies in the last 2 minutes

Hi,
Is there a way to make it so if someone replies to a topic in the last 2 minutes before the topic timers ends, the topic timer is extended by 5 minutes?

No, this is not possible at the moment. What’s the use case here, it sounds a bit odd?
You can make it so every reply extends the closure time but not with the time restrictions.

That is already possible at the category level, and we use it at the #Marketplace.
You can configure a whole category to close topics X hours after the last reply. It is not possible with topic specific topic timers.

No, there are no additional arbitrary rules like that. Just a simple extension with every reply.
