# Facebook Authentication Problems

Hi,

I have been getting reports from users being unable to log in using their facebook credentials. Our error logs are filling up a little with authentication errors - hosted solution - [GameDev.tv](http://GameDev.tv)

Any known problems at this time?

Thanks for letting us know. We missed a deprecation for facebook logins and had to update our facebook provider gem to fix it. I’ve done this, and backported to all branches.

It should be deployed to your site shortly.

Thanks for the update @eviltrout - I am fairly certain I didn’t understand some of that, but you made it sound awesome and I am fully prepared to believe it _is_ awesome - so many thanks for a prompt response as always - appreciated 🙂
