# Failure to onebox a local http page

I’m getting a 500 error when oneboxing a post in an http only discourse that requires a login, and has no plugins. I don’t have this issue in on my other Discourse, which are all https, but do require login.

I got this before I updated, then after a full update just now, I retried the onebox.

Oneboxing won’t work with login required anyway, since all oneboxes come through as anon user.

I think we already had slotted improving this for next release.

Since I was getting a 500 error, not a 404, assumed it was a different issue.
