# Feature request: Removing notifications

Add the ability for old notifications on Discourse to be removed.  
You may not want to see a certain notification again even if you already dismissed it.  
What it could do is: there could be a “clear all” notification to clear all notifications or a “X” button to clear the current notification.  
What this would do is permanently remove the notification or all notifications from the feed. I see this is not implemented in Discourse so this is why I am writing this suggestion.
