このダイアログに「差分を表示」ボタンがあれば、ぜひ追加してほしいです。

トピックに入って編集中の下書きを見たときに、変更があったかどうか分からないことが何度あったか数えきれません。

編集について話していますか、それとも新しい返信について話していますか？

しばらく前に始めた編集と、現在公開されている投稿との違いを簡単に知りたいのですが。ただし、編集後にではなく、編集を続けるときにそれを見たいです。

新しい返信については、自動保存のおかげで違いはないと思うので、編集はあまり意味がないのではないでしょうか？
