You can set a custom class name for each list in the editor. Use this class to target your list in the context where you want to hide it.

@Misha_Joshi featuring a list of categories is a separate use case. You can handle this with a dedicated component like [Featured Categories Header](https://meta.discourse.org/t/featured-categories-header/203779).

Hello
I’m experiencing a display bug in the Featured Lists view
(the bug doesn’t appear in the Lastest view that Featured Lists replicates on the homepage)
FYI, the presentation of topics is modified by Discourse Topic Cards.

Thanks for the report. I needed to update the Topic List component to the new glimmer one.

I use Topic Cards but I don’t want it to be implemented in connection with Featured lists. How can I do that?

Hi, it looks pretty great! But you could improve that featured list more to make it smoother, cleaner, and easier to set up for new users. And you’re doing a good job, just keep going.

This component uses the default topic list styling, so it’ll pick up whatever changes you make with other components. No way to change your default style, unfortunately!

Yeah, I know it is quite a technical component. I designed it primarily as a flexible tool that lets me create lots of different design variations, rather than something that’s plug-and-play ready.

I wonder how to choose the custom URL for displaying the component?
Want to use it on the support category in order to display the pinned message using a Kanban template display.

This is not a custom URL, it’s the custom route (`discovery.custom`) that is used to render a custom homepage. The component only supports the routes from the drop-down, no additional URLs.

I just updated Discourse to version v2026.9.0-latest +565.
Following this, I’m encountering an error that prevents “Featured Lists” from working.

Thanks @Moin! I merged the update to both, but set the linked repo back to GitHub.
I had moved some of my personal repos to GitLab because it allows for organization in folders. But I guess I’m gonna move them back to GitHub and be able to better align with our automatic update tools.
