# Federation doesn’t respect anonymous mode

ActivityPub sends same post twice when an anon is writer. One as `@anon…@forum` or what ever style forum uses, and one using actual name like `@doe@forum`. Is that expected? Because when a user uses anon mode that user wants to hide actual identity from public.
