This is the first time we’ve seen such report so maybe it’s an issue with a theme or a plugin on this instance?
When there’s a client-side / javascript error, the first thing to do should be to try [Using Safe Mode to troubleshoot issues with themes and plugins](https://meta.discourse.org/t/using-safe-mode-to-troubleshoot-issues-with-themes-and-plugins/53504).

Thanks for letting us know! since we host this site we also responded to a separate report of this issue from admins. We tracked it down to a theme component with an event listener that needs to be modernized. That customization has been disabled in the meantime so things should be back to normal.
