Yes, this is one of the things that makes the proposed feature more complicated, and I think one of the reasons we landed on the current solution first.
So definitely something we’d have to keep in mind.
It does lead me to also wonder whether some smaller tweaks to the existing solution are worth considering first, more focused on making the feature itself more discoverable and maybe take fewer steps.
But I also understand it’d be nice to have a UX that is more similar across chat and topics if we can pull it off.
