Follow and unfollow rather than watching, tracking, normal, mute

(Pad Pors) #1

In our forum, we got the feedback that there are two many levels to follow a topic or a category.

I want to hide or remove the watching mode or tracking category. but there is no css class to these items.

Is there any other way to remove these extras?

another related problem is the untranslatable strings in the drop down menu of watching category and tags, which is shown something like this:

as these strings shown to be not-translatable, it’d be better to hide them. any idea how?

Better terms for watching (and tracking?)

What locale are you using for your Discourse? Are you using a different locale as a user preference?

They are <li> elements with stable data- attributes that always appear in the same order, just write a CSS selector and set display: none;, it’s doable.

it is fa_IR locale, and I didn’t understand the second question: “are you using a different locale as a user preference?”. the bad part is when we use the follow topic in the sidebar plugin, we get something like this which is neither English nor Persian (:frowning: ):

thanks Rafael, this has done the job as suggested :slight_smile:

.dropdown-menu li:nth-of-type(3) { display: none; }

@Pad_Pors can you update to latest? Translation override issues should be a thing of the past :ghost:
