# Follow groups instead of individual users

I already (just now) discovered the Discourse Follow plugin: [Discourse Follow](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-follow/110579)

However, I understand that this is only for following specific users, one by one. Is there a way to follow a group?

Use case: There are two categories of users in a forum: people me and colleagues regularly collaborate with, and everyone else on the internet. I don’t have the capacity to read the messages of both at the same frequency, so I want to prioritize my collaborators, and I want that my colleagues don’t need to update their lists of people manually.

(an alternative approach would be to follow a tag and somehow automatically tag every post by a user in a group)
