# Follow request

Has a follow request feature ever been considered? (couldn’t find any while searching)

So the idea is that not everyone could be notified about my activity just by following, but for me to agree to only certain users to follow me.

Particularly useful when you don’t want certain users, across a large community, to obsessively “track” you.

I think the idea is to add a feature to the #follow plugin that allows to decide who follows you. A stage between `Allow people to follow me` yes and no.
