(Apologies, I put this in the wrong place initially)

I’ve had the Font Awesome Pro plugin installed and it’s not changing all the fonts used by default by Discourse.

For example:

The older topics about the plugin don’t have any guidance on this specific issue that I could find. I thought maybe it was a FA5 vs FA6 naming issue but that’s not the case with fa-layer-group, fa-comment, fa-inbox and others that are not displaying the ‘fa-light’ variant of the icons.

Any tips or tricks or is this a bug? The official topic on the plugin seems like it might not have be updated to really work with FA6 but it’s hard to tell.

The icons used by Discourse are manually listed in the plugin.

It seems that layer-group is missing. Same for inbox.

The comment icon is a special case, it’s originally named d-chat and it’s mapped to comment icon. This needs to be handled in the plugin as well.

Do you see others missing icons? I will make a PR.

EDIT: Actually nevermind, I will compare with the core list.

So for the ones like fa-comment that are reserved by Discourse, is the best course of action to use a different unreserved icon like fa-message or what have you?

I made a PR to fill in the missing FA icons. However, it still misses the additional SVG custom icons specific to Discourse. This will be left for another PR.
