# 新規ユーザーはどのくらいの期間「新規ユーザー」とみなされますか？

A user in our forum mentioned that has reached her limit of posts. I know I can change some settings in the Admin area:

> _newuser max replies per topic_: Maximum number of replies a new user can make in a single topic until someone replies to them.

I was wondering when a new user stops being “new”.

When they move to “trust level 1”, they stop being “new users” 😉
