# Force only full name

Is there a way to make it so that users only have a name option and that usernames are completely hidden \ removed?  
It’s a fairly formal website so I want people using usernames not display names.

@Falco Is there maybe a way to disable names but just change everywhere in the website it says username to name?

You could disable names with the `enable names` site setting:

And then change all occurrences of the “Username” text in Customize → Text section:
