Fedora (@mattdm) is getting ready to move from Mailman to Discourse. So, I’m trying out how it fairs when interacting with it from the comfort of my mail client.

Currently quotes use tags `
` and `
` when a reply contains a quote. This should be formatted according to RFC3676, _The Text/Plain Format and DelSp Parameters_ ([https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3676.txt](https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3676.txt))

For a more elaborate example please take a look at [Quoting in e-mail notifications does not comply with e-mail standards - Fedora Discussion](https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/quoting-in-e-mail-notifications-does-not-comply-with-e-mail-standards/81528)

Should linking be a bad idea, please let me know, and I’ll copy my post from Fedora Discussion over here.
