# Formatting doesn't work in solved answer summary that's embedded in the original post

However, formatting is **correctly applied** when you expand the embedded solution:

**Note:** I _tried_ [testing this on the sandbox](https://try.discourse.org/t/embedded-solved-answer-with-code/1389), but for some reason it didn’t show an option to mark my answer as solved.

What _should_ the expected behavior be? It showing a possibly huge block of code or showing only a part of it big enough to not exceed the size of the unexpanded solution box? Both could sound like bad ux.

Just throwing that out there for the discourse team 🙂
