# “Forwarded the above email” banner

The solution for me was to change [“forward emails behaviour”](https://meta.discourse.org/t/explanation-of-forwarded-emails-behavior-hide-quote-create-replies/281586) setting in “All site settings” from “create\_replies” to “hide”

This kept the same staged user, prevented the “forwarded” banner, improves parse of email, doesn’t strip whom sent the email and when, and only hides (“details-off”) downstream replies when useful in this scenario.
