# Forwarding emails into Discourse without staging users

The “forwarding email” situation in Discourse is a little confusing to me. Here’s what I’m trying to do:
I want to forward some emails into a specific Discourse category so that the appropriate people can discuss it. I don’t want the forwarded email to stage any users, or responses to that forwarded email to be send back to the original sender.
Let me break that down some more:
1. A Vendor sends a Proposal to my personal email.
2. I forward the Proposal email to the “Vendor proposals” Category on our private Discourse site
3. The handful of users who have access to that Category discuss the Proposal amongst themselves.
4. Once we reach consensus, I reply to the Vendor from my personal email.
Is this doable in Discourse?

I haven’t started working on a PR, I’ve got a few other priorities at the moment.
