# FR translation bug?

Hi guys,
I highlighted some weird things happening on the mobile version of [forum.francaisalondres.com](http://forum.francaisalondres.com) - I was wondering if you knew what is happening.

The French texts seem to work fine here on Meta, so I don’t think it’s a problem with the French translation in general.
Based on the errors in the browser console when looking at your forum, it seems loading the additional locale files fails.

I don’t think the issue is between desktop and mobile. For me, it’s broken on desktop too. I still think you need to fix the problem that’s causing the scripts to fail to load.

In the app.yml there was
```
DISCOURSE_CDN_URL: https://cdn.mycdn.com/
```
That won’t work. It needed to be
```
DISCOURSE_CDN_URL: https://cdn.mycdn.com
```
This has made my life bad before. IMHO, it would be appropriate for the code to strip a trailing slash (in most places the trailing slash is better) so that you’d not be punished for having the trailing slash.

@hugh can you consider this? 👆 Makes sense to me.
