# Full HTML support in (sub)category boxes - workaround?

Hey guys

We run regular contests in our forum. For each contest, we set up a dedicated subcategory.

At this point, we would like to add more rich content to each category box, such as buttons, links, div and p tags, etc.

Main Quest: Is there any way to enable full HTML support in category box descriptions?  
Side Quest: Is there any way to override the character limit for the description?

I think you could do that with a theme component.
