それは、ユーザーが `/my/*` の URL に到達しないからではないでしょうか？これは単なるスマートなリダイレクトだからです。

例えば、`/my/preferences` は `/u/falco/preferences` にリダイレクトされるため、あなたのコードにある `if` 文がトリガーされるような `/my/preferences` ページには、私は決して到達しません。
