# Get notified when a topic you are tracking or bookmarked gets linked from another topic

On Discourse meta - and my own (small) forum - there are some topics that are of such interest to me, that I would like to be notified when a post in another topic links to it.

At this moment it only happens when I am the author of the topic that is being linked.

Or - maybe better yet - would it be possible to create an admin post in the topic that is being linked, as it happens? This would then automatically yield a notification, I guess, because I’m watching the topic in which the admin post is being placed.

Is that possible, or easily implemented?
