Clarifying here publicly, we didn’t do a step when we merged DEV: remove enable gifs upcoming change metadata (#41798) · discourse/discourse@6d51f7b · GitHub earlier today to toggle on gifs for all our hosting, I’ve done this now and I’m deploying the handful of sites that would have been affected.
Self-hosted admins will need to enable gifs and setup Klipy API keys for themselves in /admin/config/gifs :
