# GitHub 登录：能创建账户但登录不了

前段时间，我按照 [Configure GitHub login for Discourse](https://meta.discourse.org/t/configure-github-login-for-discourse/13745) 的说明配置了 GitHub 登录。

虽然注册可以成功使用，但按下“使用 GitHub 登录”按钮时，按钮会变暗，但不会启动登录过程。

一位用户好心提供了[额外信息](https://racket.discourse.group/t/log-in-with-github-doesnt-seem-to-work-on-this-discourse-instance/2510?u=spdegabrielle)：

> 退出登录后，点击网站右上角的“登录”。然后点击出现的模态框中的“使用 GitHub 登录”。似乎什么都没有发生。在控制台中，我看到：

```plaintext
15:09:40.043 Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: this.login.externalLogin is not a function
    externalLoginAction login.js:320

```

在日志 [https://racket.discourse.group/logs/](https://racket.discourse.group/logs/) 中没有显示失败事件的迹象。
