# Global settings for forums

Hello,

Is there a way to set the “Solved” and “Voting” options globally? We have many categories/forums, and modifying these settings at each individual forum is time consuming.

You can enable solved globally using the setting `allow solved on all topics`.

Voting doesn’t have an equivalent as it is not expected to have voting globally anyway. It is usually in an “Ideas” or “Suggestions” category.
