Google search results snippet contains deprecation warning

The first line of every Google search results snippet for a Discourse forum thread is:

“Unfortunately, your browser is too old to work on this Discourse forum.”

Discourse isn’t detecting and special casing the user agent string which the Google crawler users:

Not seeing this, can you share URLs?

For example site:meta.discourse.org prevent spam - Google Search

This was covered in a previous topic, turns out Google is parsing JavaScript and getting a string via actually running JavaScript. But we made changes at that time.

Actually I searched for a newer topic and you are right

That is an urgent regression @neil can you look at that first thing tomorrow?

It’s possible that Google crawled with a different crawler… I guess??

I’ll add Mediapartners and AdsBot to the list of user agent matches for Googlebot.
