# Group id length limit arbitrarily(?) short

I created a new group this morning. I wanted to key it `AzureDevOps_extension` but that was one char too long. I shortened it to `ADO_extension`

The limit of 20 characters seems pretty tight to me. Expressive naming is supposed to be a good thing, isn’t it?

Hello,

The group name use the `max username length` setting. 🔽

But maybe would be better to separate it from username? 🤔
