# Groepseigenaren kunnen het eigendom niet verwijderen, wel het lidmaatschap

Group owners are not shown a button to remove ownership from other owners, but they can remove them as members, thereby rescinding their ownership indirectly.  
This seems inconsistent and should be adjusted by either

- allowing group owners to remove owners directly
- disallowing group owners to remove other owners as members
- disentangling both flags according to [Group owners should not necessarily be group members](https://meta.discourse.org/t/group-owners-should-not-necessarily-be-group-members/38394)
