# Sent my website to Google Search days ago but it's not indexing

Following steps can be done to resolve this:

1. Visit `https://YOUR_SITE/sitemap.xml` and check it directly or validate using [XML Sitemap Validator](https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/validate-xml-sitemap.html). If it passes, your file structure is correct.
2. Ensure **“enable sitemap”** is turned on in your Discourse Admin panel.
3. Confirm your site is **not set to “login required”** , as private sites block crawlers.
4. Review your `robots.txt` file and verify that no rules block crawling.
