I have the same issue. In the browser console I see an error occurring but ‘failed to load response’.
I have 2.7.0.beta7.

Seems not appearing. Theme selector not working/appearing in the pulldown menu. I’m on 2.8.0.beta9 stable.

There’s a bug with this plugin where the hamburger menu ‘Theme Selector’ section title link assumes that you aren’t using a subfolder setup in your discourse. In our case, we are using [subdomain.domain.com/subfolder](http://subdomain.domain.com/subfolder), but the link for that section title takes me to [subdomain.domain.com/my/preferences/interface](http://subdomain.domain.com/my/preferences/interface), which obviously doesn’t exist.

I’ve moved your post over to the topic itself as issues with components are currently reported there for easier tracking. 👍
As you have a subfolder install, you may need to adapt some of these customisations to fit as they are geared towards a more standard setup. Hopefully someone has a suggestion, but if not you may need to engage some specialist assistance in the #Marketplace category. 👍

Yes, but it needs a big rethink in the context of sidebar (maybe icon at the bottom and pop up to select theme)

We’ll add more features to this in the future, but for now this new toggle will get us the same functionality as the hamburger theme selector: [Sidebar Theme Toggle](https://meta.discourse.org/t/sidebar-theme-toggle/242802)

This theme component currently only works with the **Legacy** sidebar setting, which is going to be discontinued. [Removing the legacy hamburger navigation menu option](https://meta.discourse.org/t/removing-the-legacy-hamburger-navigation-menu-option/265274)
