# Happy Birthday E-mail?

Hi, everyone!  
In vBulletin, members would get e-mailed a short “Happy Birthday” greeting on their birthdays. Does a similar feature exist in Discourse that we can enable?

No that I’m aware of, but FWIW, I find those emails infuriating! I get about 30 on my birthday from forums that I haven’t been to in years. I think if you’re going to do it there needs to be some logic involved (perhaps they only go out to active members).

Sorry – you didn’t ask for that rant!

I do not think so since they do not ask for your birthday when you sing up!

I may be wrong though.
