Has any one tried Yandex smtp?

Has any one tried Yandex SMTP for discourse emails? If yes what are the Pros and Cons?

Incoming or outgoing? If outgoing it is almost certainly against their terms of service.

oh thank you, that very much answers all my questions. I was thinking of giving Yandex SMTP for outgoing emails a try.

Hi guy,
I’m installing Discourse with Yandex email but cannot received verify email :frowning:
How can I set?

DISCOURSE_DEVELOPER_EMAILS: 'kaze.uraki@gmail.com'
DISCOURSE_SMTP_ADDRESS: smtp.yandex.com
DISCOURSE_SMTP_PORT: 465
DISCOURSE_SMTP_USER_NAME: kaze.uraki@yandex.com
DISCOURSE_SMTP_PASSWORD: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Did I use my account registered with Yandex (kaze.uraki) or account from domain registered with Yandex (discourse@vietphuong.info)

My VPS Digital Ocean Ubuntu 16.04 64.
My email (kaze.uraki@yandex.com) didnt’ received any verify email :frowning:

I did try to sparkpost but cannot add sending domain (reject by review from supporter)

I think you should try another email services for outgoing email, discourse/INSTALL-email.md at master · discourse/discourse · GitHub
