# Help me find that banner message

By this time, I’m “chopping my hair off” :))

So I can’t find where that banner message is edited? I know I edited it once, made it to be in the form of banner, but I just cannot find it in settings right now.

I just found it. It is a post, but I still cannot find where that post was made to be a banner on site.

You can navigate to the post that you turned into a global banner by using the edit button.

Then, click the wrench above the timeline or at the bottom of the topic to open the topic menu, select “Un-pin topic,” and then “Remove banner topic.”

In case you dismissed the banner and don’t remember which topic you pinned as a banner, you can pin any other topic as a banner. You can only make one topic a banner, so this overwrites the current banner, and then you can unpin the new banner.

Thank you guys, I couldn’t remember the banner option is in Pinning settings.. Still quite new to Discourse, but it’s really great piece of software.
