There’s a little bit of prior art here through a theme component — [Topic Cards](https://meta.discourse.org/t/topic-cards/296048) — which has a similar design.

You’re correct that there’s a very different design between topic listings in Default and Horizon — this is by design. I appreciate your fast feedback here, and I’d would be interested to hear whether any of your initial opinions change (or not!) in a day or two. Hope you’ll come back and let us know!
