# Hide & log viewing of Last IP and Registration IP Address

…for Moderator and Admin.

Viewing email address is logged, ip address should be as well.

There is no accountability for Moderators and Admins viewing ip address; they can’t show they didn’t abuse access to these fields any more than someone alleging as much can show they did. Puts Moderators and Admins in an unnecessarily difficult position.

You can [hide](https://meta.discourse.org/t/remove-admin-ip-address-lookup/159393) it using css but I think it would be better to have a proper solution.
