# Hide 'Welcome to the forums' for admin user. Make reading it mandatory

I do like the idea of pushing the guidelines a little harder. A depressing number of people just plain don’t read them. I just picked a random user who has trust level 3 on the forum I moderate and he does _not_ have the badge for having read the guidelines. That seems weird to me.
