# Hierarchical Tags

The hierarchical tags feature is one of the great features of Discourse that helps a lot in organizing topics.

Sometimes using this feature may be a bit confusing for users. If we consider the model of using this feature as the car brand and the car model, the way of using it becomes clear to the users, but in some models, the user does not know the sequence of the tags and tries directly to select the subset tag.

Do you think there will be a problem if it allows users to see all the tags and if the selected tag has a hierarchy, other prerequisite tags will be added to the topic?
