# Highlighting current user and bots in posts

I think as a result of [FIX: dynamic highlighting of self mentions by dbattersby · Pull Request #37321 · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/37321) the highlighting worked not only on “real” @mentions, but also on the “fake” ones used in the #News and Events > Forum summaries.

For example:

Is it possible to make `<a class="mention" href="/u/Moin">Moin</a>` work too? Currently, that doesn’t work:
